The Thelast io - How To Play:

Once you join a match, you will appear in a lobby. When the match begins, an airship will transport you over the map. You can jump off the airship and free-fall or hold the drop button to descend more quickly. After landing, search for chests or break open containers to acquire weapons and items. Fight your way to the end of the match using your equipment, surroundings, and strategy. As the match progresses, the safe travel area will gradually shrink.
